PELLEFIRM SYSTEM

This system advancement involves a larger handpiece for areas of the body beyond the face. The bigger handpiece allows for an elevated tissue temperature up to 45° Celsius, the temperature needed for skin tightening and tissue contraction. When cellulite is present, this heating combined with the massage heads mechanically improve lymphatic drainage to the treated area. In other words, the cellulite areas become less dimpled and smoother.

PELLEFIRM APPROVED BY THE FDA

While the FDA has recently approved this new PelleFirmTM system, other countries have been using it for some time for skin tightening and cellulite. International reports have noted improved appearance on the neck, abdomen, buttocks, knees and thighs. This treatment works fantastically in combination with laser lipo to tighten the skin superficially. A series of 5 weekly to biweekly treatments is recommended on average, although more may be needed depending on the area of the body and its baseline appearance. Maintenance treatments are usually recommended.
